Cutting Board Plus (42 cm x 30 cm x 2.5 cm)

The best knife won’t stay sharp for long if used on the wrong surfaces. Wood is a living material and gives way when cutting; however, these cuts will eventually close up.

The high-quality beechwood cutting boards from TYROLIT LIFE are ideal for cutting bacon, bread, and vegetables while preserving the sharpness of your blade.

If you notice that your blade needs a bit of care during use, simply reach for the integrated ceramic sharpening stone to restore your knife’s usual sharpness.

Following the principle of simplification, TYROLIT LIFE has combined two essential functions into one tool – the ideal cutting surface and a reliable helper to resharpen kitchen knives like the Santoku knife directly while cutting. This product is available in two sizes.

Santoku knife (18 cm)

With this all-rounder from TYROLIT LIFE, cutting, dicing, and chopping meat, fish, and vegetables is almost effortless. The special kullenschliff (hollow edge) reduces food sticking to the blade, allowing for efficient and fast kitchen work.

Compared to traditional knives, the TYROLIT LIFE Santoku knife features a slightly shorter and wider blade that extends well under the handle, providing maximum safety for your fingers.

Additionally, the indentations in the blade (kullenschliff) reduce resistance while cutting and minimize food sticking. Due to its balance and easy handling, this kitchen knife is especially popular among beginners and home cooks.

Meat Cut (15 cm)

The 110 g lightweight TYROLIT LIFE Meat Cut handles multiple tasks when working with meat.

Firstly, it easily separates the skin from the meat and cuts through or removes sinews. Additionally, with a blade length of 15 cm and an integrated handle groove that ensures clean guiding of the knife along the bone, this meat knife is ideal for precise and complete separation of meat from the bone.

This is also due to the fact that the Meat Cut is a medium-flex knife, making its flexibility perfect for bone removal.

The special coating, which characterizes all knives in the DARKLINE series, ensures low resistance and high glideability. This significantly reduces food sticking.
