This particularly compact version of the knife sharpener comes with a two-sided precision sharpening stone in different grit sizes. The rougher grit (400) is suitable for coarse sharpening and the finer grit (800) for fine sharpening and to give the knives a lasting sharpness.

A unique innovation of all TYROLIT LIFE knife sharpeners is the pre-set sharpening angle of 15 degrees. This allows for professional sharpening quickly and effortlessly by anyone. For optimal sharpening results, moisten the stones before use. Hold the knife at a right angle to the base surface.

The blade should face downwards. Ensure that the blade rests evenly. Apply only gentle pressure. The sharpening motion should be from top to bottom. Of course, the knives can also be sharpened on a stationary stone. For the best results, position the blade at a slightly angled position (15 degrees).

Care of the knife sharpener

To ensure that you can enjoy your knife sharpener for a long time, we recommend using a abrasive fleece. This allows the stones to be roughened again, making them effective for a lifetime of use.
