Lemon Scramble with Butter-Caramel Strawberries
Zubereitung:
We have developed a recipe where you can perfectly utilize the Tyrolit Life pizza stone for grilling: Summery Lemon Pancake with Grilled Butter-Caramel Strawberries.
Preparation of the Pancake:
First, we preheat our grill to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) with our Tyrolit pizza stone.
Separate the eggs, mix the yolks with milk and sugar. Combine the flour with lemon zest, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of grated tonka bean. Then gently fold the stiffly beaten egg whites into the mixture. Pour into a heat-resistant pan (do not forget to heat the butter first) and place on the pizza stone in the grill.
Bake for 10 minutes until it puffs up nicely.
Meanwhile, prepare the Butter-Caramel Strawberries. Once ready, tear apart the pancake and serve it alongside the strawberries, finishing by dusting with sugar.
Preparation of Butter-Caramel Strawberries:
Boil water with the sugar until it caramelizes. Take it off the grill and stir in the butter until creamy. Finally, add the strawberries and mix well.
