What are the advantages of an abrasive fleece?
A non-woven abrasive is an extremely flexible abrasive and is usually used when a standard sandpaper does not produce the desired result. The areas of application usually include roughening, cleaning and derusting. If you want to roughen surfaces with a non-woven abrasive, this works well for wood, plastics, paints and metals, for example. When it comes to cleaning, an abrasive fleece is recommended for cast iron or stainless steel barbecues and for uncoated cookware. Abrasive stones made of ceramic can also be cleaned and sharpened using an abrasive fleece, making knives and blades more effective. If rust has formed on edges or tools, you can also remove this. A grinding fleece can be used to remove dirt and rust from tools and garden equipment as well as from toboggan runners, skates, and ski and snowboard edges. Thanks to this wide range of applications, a grinding fleece from Tyrolit Life offers you many advantages. It can be used in a variety of ways, you can cut the fleece to size as required, and thus have an effective tool that will assist you in your hobbies, DIY and household tasks.
How can an abrasive fleece be used?
Abrasive fleece has a wide range of uses and offers you, the user, numerous possibilities. For example, it can be used to create a matt finish on new parts. Surfaces can be prepared by roughening them, so that paints and varnishes can adhere better afterwards. Softwood can be structured using abrasive fleece, while veneered furniture parts can be brushed out. This versatile tool offers you even more areas of application, so you can not only roughen and sand surfaces, but also smooth or strip them. It is also possible to pretreat surfaces such as aluminium, zinc and galvanised steel. In addition, you can degrease and clean surfaces that you want to paint or varnish. It can be used to effectively remove rust from railings, iron girders, pipes and body parts. You can also use it to matt-finish or matt-grind surfaces made of aluminium, stainless steel, copper, plastic, brass and steel. As you can see, Tyrolit Life abrasive fleece is extremely versatile and can therefore be used for a wide range of applications.
