Buy a Pizza Stone for Home Use

A pizza stone is the secret to a perfect, homemade pizza that delights every palate. This versatile tool offers a range of benefits that can take your culinary creations to the next level.

Whether you’re a newcomer to the world of pizza baking or an experienced kitchen pro, the pizza stone has something for everyone.

The pizza stone is a master of heat transfer. Its ability to store high temperatures and deliver them evenly ensures that the pizza dough is baked efficiently.

This is especially important to achieve an evenly risen dough with a perfect, golden brown crust.

How to Use the Pizza Stone: Guide for Perfect Baking

Before using your pizza stone, you should clean it. Then, place the stone in a cold oven on a rack positioned on the bottom shelf. It is important to ensure the stone is not directly on the bottom of the oven or on a baking sheet to allow air to circulate freely.

Once you have placed the pizza stone in the oven, preheat it at around 240 degrees Celsius for at least 30 minutes. During preheating, the stone absorbs the heat and stores it. If you then bake pizza, tarte flambée, bread or rolls, the stone transfers the stored heat to the baked goods.

If the pizza crust is crispy, you can remove the baked item from your oven. The pizza peel included in the pizza stone set is suitable for this purpose. Then, simply use the pizza cutter or high-quality knife to slice up the result and enjoy.

If you do not want to prepare any more food, you can now switch off the oven. It is important that you leave the still warm pizza stone in the oven so that it can slowly cool down. The material does not tolerate strong temperature fluctuations and should therefore always be warmed up and cooled down slowly. Once the pizza stone has completely cooled down, you can take it out of the oven.

Pizza Stone Tip – Baking Versatile Delicacies

The pizza stone from Tyrolit Life is not only suitable for pizza. Use it as a bread baking stone and experiment with tarte flambée, bread, rolls and other baked goods.

The excellent heat distribution and storage of the stone allows for a variety of culinary adventures.
